Our relationship with Faithful and Gould started recently in 2020 and has quickly established Caliba as a significant partner in the delivery of major infrastructure projects such as HS2 and national programmes such as the National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework.
The use of SME specialist knowledge and expertise in delivering infrastructure projects is paramount to F&G as part of their delivery partnership with HS2 in Birmingham. Drawing on our experience in developing NEC contracts for major infrastructure work, we have been able to significantly influence how some of the new HS2 rail systems programme will be procured and delivered. We continue to support the Engineering Development Partnership, leading on key integration workstreams such as Logistics, Handover and Principal Contractor interfaces.
Our simple and straightforward approach to complex engineering challenges has been well received and our commission been extended into rail procurement and Network Rail interface management. As our partnership matures with F&G, we are now also working closely with the regional infrastructure teams, providing commercial resources on the National Highways frameworks. Our ability to define and understand our clients’ needs, allows us to shape a bespoke service provision accordingly, an approach which has led us to be one of F&G’s top performing SME’s.
